A single wide vamp band spans the foot from the inner to the outer sole edge, with a vertical T-bar strap descending from the centre midpoint of the band downward to a toe post anchored between the first and second toe by a small gold-tone dome stud at the footbed surface. The vamp band carries a large square gold-tone buckle at the outer edge, with the buckle frame sitting proud of the strap surface and extending slightly beyond the strap width.
